Description
The VB drilling swivel is a heavy-duty assembly designed to support the rotating drill string while simultaneously supplying drilling fluid into the drill pipe string during well drilling operations.
The VB drilling swivel (A60/80M1.40.00.000 assembly) is designed to provide free rotation of the drilling tool suspended from the traveling block while supplying drilling fluid to the bottom of the well through the drill pipe string.
The swivel is intended for operation in temperate and cold climatic regions at ambient temperatures ranging from -45°C to +45°C.
The product is supplied with all required certification documents and fully complies with the Safety Regulations for the Oil and Gas Industry PB 08-624-03.
Swivel bail extensions.
Designed to increase the length of the swivel bail when additional space is required inside the bail opening for installing a telemetry system lubricator.
During operation, the pair of extensions is installed in the swivel housing in place of the original bail ends, and the swivel bail ends are connected to the extensions using pins.
