Description
The EDP-P elevator is designed for gripping and lifting drill pipes, casing strings, and tubing during tripping operations. It is a reliable tool for handling tubular goods in drilling and well servicing applications.
The EDP-P elevator with a central latch is a combined lifting tool utilizing four slips with interchangeable inserts. This design provides a secure grip on tubing or casing while leaving only minimal marks on the pipe surface. A distinctive feature of this spider elevator is its dual safety locking system, which significantly reduces the possibility of accidental opening during operation.
The EDP-P elevator with a central latch is available for pipe sizes ranging from 48 mm to 194 mm (1.9" to 7 5/8") and with load capacities from 20 to 200 tonnes.
The EDP-P elevator is manufactured from high-strength alloy steel. Each unit undergoes proof load testing and magnetic particle inspection to ensure structural integrity and operational safety.
The EDP-P elevator fully complies with the requirements of API Spec 8A/8C for drilling and oilfield hoisting equipment.
