Description
The SE pneumatic spider elevator is designed for gripping and lifting drill pipes, casing strings and tubing and is a reliable tool for running and pulling operations.
The SE spider elevator with a central lock is a combination tool featuring four slips with interchangeable dies. This design provides a secure grip on a tubing string or pipe while leaving minimal marks on the pipe surface. A distinctive feature of these spider elevators is a dual safety-lock system designed to reduce the risk of accidental opening.
SE spider elevators with a central lock are available for pipe diameters ranging from 48 to 194 mm (1.9 to 7 5/8 in.) and load capacities ranging from 20 to 200 tons.
SE spider elevators are manufactured from alloy steel and undergo load testing and magnetic particle inspection.
The SE spider elevators fully comply with the requirements of API Spec 8A/8C for lifting equipment used in drilling and oil production operations.
